10120 Highway 147, Stewart, TN

Description of 10120 Highway 147, Stewart - MLS# 3505835

A lovely piece of history, the original home remains on property which was built in 1910. A cistern is still in place for nostalgia and some of materials on property were from the original City of Danville. This property is quite large with good building spots. At 3.6 acres this property offers a well, and city water, in addition to 2 septic tanks, and electric power onsite. The primary residence was built in 1969 and is habitable with minor repair work. Or live in one property while you build your dream home adjacent, with plenty of room for a garage, pole barn, and additional outbuildings. The property has excellent road access to 147 and only a short 2-mile drive to the Benton Ferry, Danville public boat ramp, and walking distance to the local store. Would make a lovely weekend retreat or quiet retirement home. If you own a small airplane you can walk to the Houston County airport. Come and take a look, there is nothing better than small town living, with all the fishing, boating, private aviation, big trees and warm seasons. Come relax and unwind.
