Davidson County Area

Situated within Goodlettsville's Davidson County area are two elementary schools -- Gateway Elementary and Goodlettsville Elementary -- as well as Goodlettsville Middle School. Once a student graduates from Goodlettsville Middle School in the eighth grade and is ready to attend ninth grade, he or she typically goes to a Metro Nashville School. In this case, that school is Hunters Lane High School.

Sumner County Area

Madison Creek Elementary School is the only school in the Sumner County area of Goodlettsville that is located within the city limits. Upon graduation from elementary school, Madison Creek Elementary School students attend Hunter Middle School and Beech Senior High School, both of which are in Hendersonville. Residents of this area can also take advantage of Sumner County magnet schools if students meet their academic requirements.
